Magnetism at the interface of non-magnetic Cu and C₆₀

The signature of magnetism without a ferromagnet in non-magnetic heterostructure is novel as well fascinating from fundamental research point view. It has been shown by Al'Mari et al: that can be induced at the interface Cu/C60 due to change density states. However, quantification such interfacial magnetic moment not performed yet. In order quantify Cu, we have X-ray circular dichroism (XMCD) measurements on Cu/C$_{60}$ multilayers. We observed room temperature ferromagnetism stack. Further XMCD show ~0.01 $\mu_B$/atom Cu interface.
